Will be watching the series finale of The Office tonight. Have enjoyed it and will be sad to see it go.

Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

Going with a group of trekkies to watch the new Star Trek movie tomorrow.

May the force be... oh, wrong movie.

Into the Darkness was really good.
Not sure I'm a fan of 3d but there were memorable moments that I'll miss next time around.

I didn't go to see Into the Darkness like I had planned. The person that invited me changed plans, then I changed my plans, then she changed her plans back. But I stuck with mine anyway.

So. Later in the day, I ended up watching the 3d copy of Rise of the Guardians I had bought. I really liked the 3d effects in this one. It had really good visuals. Can't say the same for the story, but I'll watch it again.

We watched 'Zero Dark Thirty' last night. The first half hour was controversial in the US & was probably largely unnecessary; however, overall it was good, but long - 2:50 hours.

At -10Db, during the explosions inside the OBL's compound during the raid, I thought that our QS4s were going to come off the wall - brutal!! I don't know how the QS8s would have sounded, but the 4s were more than up to the task. The soundtrack was quite reminiscent of some of the scenes in 'Master & Commander' & 'U571'...

I like my QS4's. I'm hoping QS8's will add some weight when needed but remain invisible during typical listening scenarios.
I've got a new installation sceme planned. Wish I'd bought a 9.1 reciever. It would make proving my theory easier.

QS8's make U571 sound like at least U578 and a half!

Dredd - really loud, over-the-top gory & ugly. Thankfully only 1.5 hrs long...

Watched Dark Shadows last night. I thought the first half of the movie was excellent. But the 2nd half just became too boring, and seemed too long at times.
