Hi, I'm considering the following system: on wall M22, on wall VP150, and QS8 surrounds. I would use my existing sub for bass.

I have a question concerning the placement of the on wall VP150. Because I have a console under my TV, I would need to put the VP150 above the screen. I can not place the center between the console and the TV as there is not enough room unless I raise the TV. I'd rather not have to raise the TV or replace the console with something lower.

So I'm left with the option of putting this center above my TV. I've read elsewhere that this is not optimal and it's often suggested to slightly aim the center down towards the listening area if a top mounting is used. From what I've gathered in the manual for the on wall VP150 is that it mounts flat and can not be angled, is that really the case?

Any suggestions?

I had a regular VP150 above my 104" screen years ago. It was just below my ceiling and worked just fine. As you mentioned, point it downward a little and you will be fine.
