What are the best sounding speakers out there today? Must keep the price under $50,000 for a single speaker. Don't want million dollar speakers showing up here.

So... I guess everyone is saying that there are no other, or better speakers than Axiom? Surely...

People are voting for the best speaker...like they've ever heard ANY of them! Not to mention hearing ALL of them A/B'd to make an informed decision about them.

The people that are voting for a best speaker there are no better than those who trash Axiom without having heard them. They're just snobbier.

I donno, most of those high end speakers are fugly to my eye. I don't care how good they may sound. If I can't live with their appearance they aren't for me.

Easy for me to say while living on a pension, ha!

Those are all over $50,000, except the first one in the list. This is probably the wrong forum to post this question. Too small a sampling of people.
