While adjusting my M80's to level the foot pushed through the bottom of the tower.
And chance there is a simple fix?

I saw the subject and initially thought you put your own foot through the speaker. I couldn't wait to hear the story behind it.

My guess is that it will be repairable. Cut out a slightly larger hole in a square shape and glue in a perfectly sized replacement block of wood. Move the foot slightly if you are worried about it supporting the weight. I doubt the replacement block required will be big enough to change the tonal resonance of the speaker at all. You can even use the same material if you are really worried.

Pictures would be helpful though.

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

That's what I thought too, Murph, when I saw the subject line. I was imagining the accident. Totally buzzed, then stumbled. . Then, I thought of that obscure Canadian band from the '70s, Foot in Cold Water. .

Cheers,
Alan
