I am building the home theatre room. I have my receiver etc in the rear about a 25 ft run. Just wondering if it would be best if I ran coaxial cable in the wall and use a F-type to RCA connect or plate of the end or just run the 25ft sub cable between the wall plates

Coax is perfectly fine. That is exactly what I did. Sub cable is pretty much just coax in a more malleable material.

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

Some of the higher grade subwoofer cables use coax with RCA connectors on the end. In theory, the coax will yield a more "noise free" signal due to its shielding. Either way you should be fine though.

Great thanks
so I can just pick up a wall plate with a coax female to a RCA connector.
that makes it easier

actually was thinking why bother. I will just go co-ax directly to the sub and put and co-ax to mael RCA adapter into the sub
