I suffered a similar fate when I wired the new room with in wall cable. It really bugs me (mine, not Greg's).

Panasonic vt60 65inch Axiom m60's, 160 centre, EP500, QS8's, some older pro linear rears which sound great and M3's on axiom stands for wides.
Rack from the top down, Cable box, Logitech ultimate remote, two monster surge protectors, Oppo 103D, Mac TV, Onkyo 818, Laptop on self closing tray, Emotiva XPA5 Gen2, Emotiva XPA2 Gen2, And my wifes 38 year old Marrantz which still works great.
My hope is to install a power screen and projector for movies in the future and another EP500 sub keeping an eye out in the refurb store I need a black one.

It was suggested during the construction that I install boxes and use patch cables but I worried I might be tied to specific speaker locations. I move/change stuff too much and have worked my cables below the drywall/behind the baseboards to keep them mostly hidden. when I get home I will be spinning my audio tower which will allow me to hide the connections and the cables. Nice job on the finish and clean install. I almost went a similar route but it meant moving a hot water tank (wasn't the deal breaker) which meant copper lines over my gear. It sure looks nice though. I would have gained at 24" at the back of my room. Ah well.

Really beautiful installation! Thanks very much. I gained a lot of info from this site and others. Still much to learn. I have been doing this a bit at a time. I would love to build a theatre from scratch someday. The room was finished when I started totally insulated I will try and post some pictures of the front with the speaker layout.
