You don't have to post in 2 different places. Most of us read all of the boards.

Other than that, I have no useful information for you.

M60's - end of story

klipsch speakers are very low end compared to Axiom's. They have terrible tweeters and a recessed sound.

When I first started seriously looking at new speakers and had decided to move beyond the lower-end Best Buy type speakers, I went to a local audio shop and did a test run on the the Klipsch speakers. I believe that it was the rf-35's that I was focused on, since they were in a similar price-range as the M60's. The sound was pretty good, but there was something about the horn-loaded tweeters (I think that's what it's called) that I didn't care for. Going fully on memory here, I think that I would say that they were a bit too bright....and not in the way that some describe the Axioms. They had highs that were loud as hell, but I did not walk away with any understanding of clarity, detail, and imaging.

Now, with my M60s and M22s (doing a test-run), I now understand exactly what is meant by clarity, detail, imaging, and transparency. Beyond all that, I can crank these puppies up as loud as I want and do not find it fatiguing on my ears like I found w/ the Klipsch.

In summary, if I were to compare the two, I would say that the Klipsch are geared more for those wanting good sound when they crank up their rap or hard rock. The Axioms are for those who are seeking that higher-level audiophile-type clarity for their music.
