I recently bought a CD called Jing Chi on a recommendation from one of my clients. Awesome!
It's just guitar, bass and drums (instrumental but for two tracks with vocals) and sounds like a blend of Jeff Beck, Cream, King Crimson and Frank Zappa.
Recording quality is superb with deep, deep bass and cool imaging. Musicianship is great.
You should be able to hear MP3 samples at your favourite CD store website. Highly recommend it.

don't you just love it when Marc pops by the board and gives us a whole new insight?
