I called my wife and told her my M60's, QS8's and VP150 are on the FedEX truck for delivery. She is not nearly as excited as I am. There has got to be something wrong with her.

Now I have to sit her at work today knowing they will be at my house around noon. It's going to be a long day at work.

For some reason most women don't seem to have any interest in electronics I'm sure her ears will perk up when she hears them though. Although I must confess that my better half would look at me and say "they sound like the old speakers"

that's a great system you're getting, enjoy it.

My wife promised me she'd be unable to hear the difference between our old speakers and the M60s.

Then after we got them, she told me I wasn't allowed to return them. Not that I wanted to, of course.

I hear your excitement
Personally i took a sick day when i knew the fedex truck was coming. Unfortunately once it arrived, they only had HALF my order and the second half arrived the next morning.
Do you know how hard it is to listen to your new speaker setup when you only have ONE M60??!!

I feel as if I'm on of the *odd* women who love the latest electronic gadgets...especially when it comes to sound equiptment. I don't know a lot about electronics, but I do know what sounds good. I also do A LOT of research before I buy something and I think I have a tendency to intimidate sales guys at electronic dealers because I end up knowing more about the products than they do. I'm a single woman, but I have a feeling if I ever get married, then I'll be the one providing all the necessary home theater eqiuptment!

Good ole FedEx...I don't know where I'd be without them.

Everything was received in great shape. The outer boxes were a little damaged, but the all inner boxes were in great shape. These speakers look great, especially the M60s.

After unpacking all the speakers I connected up the M60s and started listening to various CD's. WOW! I heard sounds that I have not heard before and the clarity is amazing. My wife sat down and I let her listen for about 5 minutes before asking her what she thought, and I quote "much better".

My old speakers were JBL LX44s. These are actually pretty decent speakers and I didn't know how much of a difference I would hear between the JBL's and the M60s. I am very pleased.

The QS8's won't be connected for a day or two. I have to run new wire for these. The QS8s were factory outlet buys, I have yet to find a blemished on either speaker. I will look them over better tonight.

I spent so much time listening to music and the M60s that I did not really listen to the VP150. After I get the speakers all set and calibrated I will let everyone know what I really think.

You go girl.
I'm sure Amie has an opinion on this subject considering her hubby owns the company and may or may not drive her up the wall with constant tech speak on electronics.
I know my fiance is going batty. I just got the S&V tweak dvd yesterday and spent about 3 hours playing with my toys.
