just wanted to share this with the group.

Just last night I had posted about him as an "essential" on my speaker testing CD.

They always say 3's for celebraties..wonder who is next 2?

What did he die from? I hope it was a natural cause.

The report I saw on my local news said "natural causes." But, I suspect his lifestyle contributed to those "natural causes."

For Rick James, "Super Freak" was cocain.

Whenever I think of Rick James I think of him in that Eddie Murphy video "Party All Time". lol

I envisioned too many ladies in leather. Perhaps I'm too much of a perv.

I saw Dave’s stand up show on HBO few years ago it was really darn funny. Once in a while I catch Dave’s TV show looking for the Daily Show. I’d seen the Rick James sketch, funny. The Prince sketch was hilarious. My favorite is the one with John Mayer playing guitar, it's about a how different ‘races’ reacts to musical instruments. Genius

We catch it once in a while...

Also is RENO 911

that is a f'd up funny show...on par with Dave's humor

Since we now live 2 hrs from Reno..we also try to figure out if it is filmed there or down south.

any way both shows are about all i dig on "TV" -- and they definatley push the envelope
