Axiom Home Page Forums General Discussion Stereo Any comparisons of the m22ti vs VR1

Hello, first time post and hoping to get an answer to my dilemma. I have been searching for a new pair of speakers for my Home Theater setup. I have looked at the B&W 600 & 601 and build quality and boomy bass in the 601 have gotten me to look else where. I have listened to the Von Schweikert VR1 yesterday and love the soundstage and imaging these little guys produce. I expected the VR1 build quality to be outstanding and did not leave broken hearted on that one. I have not had a chance to demo the Axiom M22ti because there is no one located near me to have listen. So here it goes, has anybody compared these 2 speakers and did you hear a $600 difference in sound quality? I'm searching for some answers to my dilemma. Please help me.

I also owned the B&W speakers and the VR1s . It would be an easy choice for me.........The VR1s sounded much accurate anf tighter to me. As for the Axioms I have never listened to them but I have heard only great things about them . Be sure to listen to both and make a desission .
