I've heard that speakers need a break-in period before they sound correct. Is this true? If so how long is it, and do you need to play anything special to do it? Do you need to play stuff loud?

Thanks!

I wonder if it's also the listener who needs the "break-in period".

Whenever I get a new tv for the first few days I think the picture is too contrasty and the sound is lacking. Then it goes away leaving me with the feeling that it's much better than my previous set.
