thats a good question.. looks like we wont be in the metroplex til probably end of october.. we got tickets to the cowboys-vs-lions game on oct 31st, so for sure then.. we will also be coming up for the game on december 12th against the saints.. i had tickets to the monday night game against philly, but i sold them to my sister who lives up in allen..
i havent got to go disc golfing all summer.. we went a few times in the spring, but that seems like ages ago now. i lost my best driver disc, the innova 'shark', in the lake, and havent replaced it. i am still a beginner to novice, so i lose a few every once and a while. our local course has TONS of trees, so my discs are all hacked up. need to get some new ones.. or go jump in the lake and find my other one!!

Am I ever so envious of your position to test drive all those speakers!
I always wondered about M80s but never got a chance because in Australia, they are damn hard to find, let alone listen to. Thanks to suggestions from here, I ended getting a pair of Monitor Audio silver 8s after being told that they are the closest to Axiom 60s. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with my MAs but somehow, I often wondered about the M80s and toy around the idea of ditching my MAs for M80s. You would be the best person to advice me whether it is worth the effort.
As mentioned, the clarity and detail of MAs are superb and after breaking in, I just cannot fault them. Would M80s be able to top that? I cost a fortune to bring the M80s to Australia and I need more infor before I plunge head-on into a decision that might come back to haunt me later.
Your feedback would be much appreciated.

Well folks I hate to say it but I'm going with Monitor Audio for now. I tracked down a set of Silver 5i's for the rears and a set of Silver 3i's to use as twin centers. Same as I'm doing with my M3's. Hope this doesn't piss anybody off here. I just really like what the Monitor's have going on and I was close to pulling the trigger on the M60's but these fell in my lap. Best part is I got both sets for cheaper then the M60's.
I will be running Axiom again that I know, but for now I'm going to go back to a speaker that has always done it for me!
Thanks for all the feedback while I was deciding what to do. If anybody wants any of my Axiom stuff, let me know. I will work you out a price that is fair for all involved.

Hope this doesn't mean your leaving...? Even though its an "Axiom" forum I've always thought of it as a HT theatre forum visited by alot of Axiom owners. Your posts have always been informative and we need as many western canuckle heads as we can get.
Cheers,Jag

Heck no and thanks for taking the time to ask. I'm not going anywhere. I like it here. Just because I'm not running Axiom at the moment is no reason to take off. I have to stick around. Not only do I like it here but there are a few members of my family now running Axiom as a result of me and I need to keep up with what's new in the Axiom world. My brother-in-law has my old M80's. My father-in-law has my M3's and VP150 and there are a few more who have pieces here and there.
If Axiom does in fact come out with the much talked about new Anniversary line, I may be running Axioms again sooner rather then later! Like I said before, the gap to me between Axiom and Monitor Audio is not that large but there was enough there that I decided to run with Monitor for the time being. Happiest person in my house right now is my wife. She has always maintained that the Monitors were the best speaker I ever had in the house. lol

I really like the Monitors too, but the cost of the surrounds and center channel was a bit daunting. How do the Axiom surrounds blend with the Silver 9s?
