sirquack- glad you are diggin' on the new system. we all remember the first day we got our new speakers, and the next few weeks of careful listening and tweaking. thats part of the experience. glad you are having such a good time with it.

and i second what jack was saying, as long as you got some speakers that you think sound wonderful, and there is no buyers remorse, then you have done well for yourself. those that have ascends or rockets, they love thier system just as much as we love our axioms, and thats OK.. the persuit of pure musical balance is a different journey for everyone. i am pleased that you have chosen your correct path..

Sirquack,
I am very happy for you...you and I have almost identical system, except for the sub. I returned the EP350 and bought a SV25-31PC Plus (525 watts sub). I found the EP350 to be not adequate to my family/HT room which is 20 ft x 15 ft x 20 ft cathedral ceiling, plus open to the kitchen area with another 15 ft x 20 ft x 8 ft. The SVS sub is just outstanding for movies and music, and of course my other AXIOM speakers (M60; VP150; QS8) are an excellent match. I have a Denon 1804 (90 watts x 6).

Regards,
Rogel (Calgary, Canada)

Thanks Rogel,

So far I have the set up in our upstairs living room as I am in the process of completing the HT in the basement. The current room is about 13'x 20' with slightly vaulted ceilings, and the EP350 seems very sufficient. Once I go down stairs it may change a bit, as the room is much larger and more open with 9' ceilings.

>>Who says grown men can't cry?

I know what you mean. Just spent a few hours playing with new M60s this evening and I'm truly overwhelmed by how versatile they are and how good everything sounds through them. Enjoy !!
