this one's for my QS8.

I'm having all my windows replaced (Loewen, wow it's $$$) and the area where my right rear QS8 was mounted is going to be taken over by the new window trim. So the area that was wide enough to handle the t bracket will now be reduced to about half that. I think my simplest option is to go w/ the FMB.

HOWEVER, I don't have the built in mounting screw on my QS8. So now I have to do the dreaded "drilling into the back". Has anyone done this? Can you share your mounting diagram/position so that I can make sure to only tap the screws where it won't make ANY damage to the speaker? Also, what length of screw, or can I use the screws that come w/ the FMB?

OT: Loewen windows are produced right here in my hometown... Winnipeg, Manitoba.

And if you think they're expensive, price out Polar.

Check out the mounting instructions here. There's a link with a little pic of the QS8 being mounted. It's not perfect, but it'll get you close, I think.

Thanks, I saw the Axiom pic but it didn't have exact dimensions.
