I had intended on waiting to do this until I had finally purchased my new receiver. However, I didn't realize the Denon 4802 didn't upsample all video to component like the 5803 and 3803 so I'm forced to wait a few months (or buy the 5803...). As such, I thought you kind people might enjoy some pics of my setup. the rears aren't placed as well as I would like because I'm moving in a couple weeks and don't see the point in putting in the effort. I'll also likely add one or two M2's to the rear center depending on which receiver I pick up.

The DVD player in the picture with the speakers is outdated as I'm actually sporting a Denon DVD-3800 now.

With the grills (minus the subwoofer which took some modification to get on...):

Hi Semi_On,

Could you possbily add the (url) (/url) tag around your links? It makes navigation much easier.

I'll do that in the future. The version of Infopop's service the community I'm most used to runs on does it automagically.

Like I said, I didn't know the system wouldn't do it for me. It's pretty pathetic that this version of UBB can't recognize http:// and convert everything to a link. The editing time limit is up on my original post so I can't change it.

How do the QS8's sound, sitting as they do? Do they sound muffled?

Actually, no. They certainly aren't as punctuated as they should be, but they don't throw you off with a muffled sound. Like I said, they'll be wall mounted when I move into the house.

I'm glad you like them. I have mine on a wall and will send pics soon. Something to think about when mounting them, they won't mount flush against a wall using banana plugs.
