Does anyone have any recommendations for online dealers of SACD and DVD-Audio discs? Local selections (Surprise!) suck and I want to expand my collection beyond the three I have.
I’ve seen that Tower Records, Acoustic Sounds and even Circuit City have some pretty decent selections, but I’m trying to find an outlet that also has many reviews. I’d like to buy much of my new music on hi-rez discs, but would also like to replace some of my favorite CDs with the better discs. Problem is, evidently many of the discs don’t sound appreciably better than the CD release as I understand it.
Seeing some SRV or Aerosmith’s Toys In The Attic makes my credit card tingle… but how do I know that they’re really better sounding if there aren’t reviews?
Any ideas?

IN no way am I "recommending" any of these sites. I'm merely bringing them to your attention and hoping they satisfy your needs
For reviews and information:
High Fidelity Review
Brian Moura's DVD-A, SACD info Don't be put off by this page. Scroll down and you'll find some good info on what's available, and what's coming.
Stores:
AudioBasics
Amazon.com DVD-A
Amazon.com SACD
BuyDVDNow
CDUniverse
ElusiveDisc
MusicDirect Click on the "Product Category" menu at the top of the page, and look for DVD-A, and SACD.

Mark, don't get too caught up in the "hi-rez" thing. As I've commented several times here, aside from the multi-channel aspect(if present)DVD-A/SACD doesn't necessarily have an audible advantage over CD, which has as much resolution as recordings require and human beings can hear. The quality of sound on a disc depends on the original recording technique and the mixing and mastering(or re-mixing and re-mastering for a re-release), not whether it winds up on CD, DVD-A or SACD.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.

That may be true, but generally albums that are released on DVD-A or SACD, have been properly recorded, mixed, and mastered (re-mastered). It can be pretty hit or miss on a standard cd.
