What kind of Jazz and New Age do you guys listen to? here's what I like most:

1)The Rippingtons - Black Diamond, Kilimanjaro, Tourist in Paradise and Weekend in Monaco.
2)Moodswings - Moodfood and Psychedelicatessen.
3)Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells II and III, Voyager, The Songs Of Distant Earth.
4)Enigma - MCMXC a.D, The cross of Changes, Le Roi Est Mort Vive le Roi, The Screen Behind the Mirror, and Erotic Dreams.
5)Kitaro - Kojiki and KGaia Onbashira.
6)Paco de Lucia - Antologia
7)Spyro Gyra - The Deep End, Road Scholars, and Fast Forward.
8)Don't laugh but I do like most late 80s to early 90s stuff from Yanni, Kenny G and Dave Koz's.

(1)David Lanz- Return to the heart, beloved, skyline firedance, nightfall, sacred road and cristofori's dream. Heartsounds is next on my list.
(2)Enya- Paint the sky with stars.
(3)Ryan Oneill- Look Within.
(4)Miles Davis- Kind of Blue.
(5)Norah Jones- Come away with me.

You forgot Yanni! But seriously, he'll always have a special place in my heart due to a very memorable family road trip and limited tape selection when I was a kid. Ray Lynch gets a nod for the same reason.

New Age? I was into that... but not really any more.

Hello? Does no one else listen to jazz and/or new age?

Since you like Monk, you're obviously a discriminating jazz aficionado. I just picked up Thelonius's "Solo Monk" on CD. I had bought it years ago on vinyl (ahem). Also got "Monk's Dream" on CD with many alternate takes. Unlike some albums cluttered with alternate takes that were correctly omitted from the first release, the alternates on "Dream" are really good, because Monk never played the same thing the same way twice.

Cool. I don't know that I'm discriminating--I only know the big names--but I did sing jazz in college. I know what I like, though! I'll have to look into those albums. I would have listed Miles Davis, but that would be listing probably half of my jazz albums.

Just had another "I love my Axioms!" moment. I was listening to Thelonius Alone and I could hear the keys lifting in a few parts! Wow!

I'm not really into New age but....

Secret Garden's "Songs from a Secret Garden" is terrific.

George Winston's "Plains" is pretty nice. Like most of his stuff, being basically solo piano, it's not much of a sonic "showcase". But still, pretty nice.
