I have been looking into purchasing omse more Axioms after buying a pair of m2i's this week. I was under the impression that if I purahsed a total of 5 within a month, I would get a 5% discount but when I inquired with Axiom they inform me that it would not apply to any previous order no matter when they were purchased. There was no mention of cable counting as one of the 5. Does anyone have first hand knowledge of what is correct?

Here's my understanding, no guarantees :

- used to be "any 5 speakers gets the discount, even if you didn't buy them all at the same time" but that changed to "5 speakers ordered at the same time"

- the web site used to count cables & banana plugs as part of the 5 but I don't think that was ever Axiom's intention, no idea if it is still coded that way but assume it was unintentional...

- there was a post from Alan or Amie in the last month or two but haven't been able to find it quickly

As far as I know the spirit is "buy 5 speakers at the same time and get 5% off".

I beleive that the 5% is due to the fact that it is cheaper to ship a bunch of things all at once than it is to ship one thing at a time. (at least, that is the impression I got from the post you mentioned, bridgeman--which, BTW, I could not find easiy, either.)

It is any 5 items ordered at one time. I bought 2 Qs8's, 2 FMB's, and some banana plugs and got 5% off

Thought I woulld let you all know, I ordered 3 speakers and two brackets and was automatically given the 5% discount.
