I can certainly empathize Nick, but the wait is truly worth it and knowing you got a great deal on them makes them even sweeter. Just think you'll have all christmas to enjoy them. Imagine trying to order them now....

Hang in there.

Brady and Michael. I liked the Bourne Supremacy. I don't know if I liked it as well as I did the first one, but that could be that "sequel never measuring up to the original" thing. It's certainly worth the rental price.

The Bourne Supremacy was a good movie. It's problem was not in the storytelling so much as it was in the horrid cinamatography from time to time. In stead of the usual solid camera shot for fight scenes or car chases they opted for the vomit-cam approach...where they shake the camera so much it gives the feeling of more speed. It does so, at the sacrifice of having it not sit still long enough to really see what's going on.

Other than that, it was a good movie...I saw it in the theater. I intend to purchase it, and just get use to all the motion and commotion.

I was going to say the same thing (LOVE the "vomit-cam" appellation. Perfect description of the effect. ) But, I assumed my opinion would just be dismissed, by those younger than I, as being a product of old age. I'm VERY tired of this technique, as well as the quick, half second cuts, that are used so much in network TV. It's as though they think we have the attention span of a gnat. I dunno. Maybe some of us do.

Funny. Yes...I'm a X-gener so I'm not that old (whatever old is) . I find the quick cuts more annoying than the vomit cam. When you lose track of whats going on...you know you have bad cinamatography and bad editing working hand in hand. I just watched The Bourne Identity again last night. Very well done in all respects. They had some shaky cam (it wasn't to the level of vomit cam), but it made scenes exciting. Supremacy turned everything up to 11 on those types of scenes thus achieving the coveted "vomit" status. Bravo Supremacy!

Well I can't TELL you what old is, but I assure you, you'll recognize it when you get there. (P.S. It's not a BAD thing. )

Apologies for the thread hijack.

Well, my speakers SHOULD ship tomorrow (Friday the 10th)... I just found out that my father-in-law is about 2.5 hours away from Axiom in Canada for a business trip and will be at my house on Saturday. I asked him to swing by, pick up my speakers, and stick them on the plane back with him, but no such luck. I guess I will have to wait until Tuesday (or Thursday depending on when they show up at FedEx, and when I have to leave for my 2 day business trip)....

Nick:
Have them shipped here. I'll keep an eye on them and even break them in for you!

Mine don't really have that "new wood" smell anymore and....well.... I NEED it Man. Yeah, that's right, I admit that I need it!

Cut to a scene that resembles a church basement. CG: "Three Days Later....". Our character, Mark, stands at the front of the room:
Mark: Hi. ( pauses) I'm Mark. And God Help Me, I'm An Axiom Owner.... (breaks down)
Audience (in unison): Hi Marrrkkkk....
