I bought this album quite awhile back...
When I first got it, I was not all that impressed. Over the past couple months I've listened to this cd quite a bit, and I have to say it's really grown on me. He was a hell of a singer.
If you get the chance pick it up. It's a real treat.

I have a love/hate relationship with Frank and his work. When he's wonderful, HE'S FABULOUS! When he's not, he's not. And, "FABULOUS" or "not fabulous" pretty much depends on your own personal tastes. Here's my favorite. I've got it on vinyl. I think I'll pick it up on CD if I can.

Has anyone tried his performance/concert DVDs? I'm startiing to assemble a music DVD collection focusing mostly on the quality of the audio. So far:
Fleetwood Mac - The Dance
Eagles - Hell Freezes Over
Faith Hill - When The Lights Go Down
Diana Krall - Live In Paris
Norah Jones - Live In New Orleans
Eric Clapton - One Car, One Rider
Santana - Supernatural
Josh Groban - In Concert
Complete Monterey Pop Festival
Alison Krause + Union Station Live
Doobie Brothers - Live At Wolf Trap (on the way)
