I have been thrilled with the Sony Wega I have. It has a fabulous picture. DVD's are great. I will finally have digital cable tomorrow so I imagine I will like it even more when I can finally watch sports and everything else in HD.

As far as watching in bright daylight, the picture is very bright and looks great. I have not had any issues watching it. I will note that I have not had direct light shining on it. It is placed in the center on my room and I do not get direct light on it. At night it is perfect.

I have not angled the VP 150 down at all. I really haven't played with it too much yet. I don't even notice the sounds coming from above the tv. Once I start playing around with angling all the speakers I'm sure I'll find a sound I like better.
