"freshman week in high school" Some of us had it made. I already knew most of the varsity football and baseball players. I had a very easy transition into high school.

And some of us didn't. Being as I don't particularly feel the need to curl up into a fetal ball at the moment, I'll just leave it at that.

I am so glad I played sports in HS. In addition to keeping me in shape, I was able to float between the nerd/geek crowd and the jock crowd rather easily.

Now look at what a lazy slob I am. What happened?

I'm with Ken on this one...you'd be more likely to find a science fiction book in my hand rather than a baseball bat or a football jersey...

Criminy! Even my nickname screamed "Geek"!...was "Egg", short for "Egghead".

No Batman jokes, please...I've heard them all...

now, is that grade A small, large, extra large, or jumbo!! hell, i even seen at the grocery store the other day, they had TEXAS JUMBO. i opened the carton, and the dang eggs were about the size of racquet balls. i sure hate it for the chicken.. OUCH!!

my nickname was Sasquatch, cause they say i look like bigfoot...? i dont see the likeness at all. luckily, once i grew up a little, bigjohn suited me much better.

In my case, it was jumbo...Combined with the size of my head and my grades, the nickname kinda stuck...Luckily, I grew and the difference was minimized.
