Hijack - 9.7, based on degree of difficulty.

The Russian judge continues to be a problem.

I have a question. I noticed that the word "y'all" is used quite a bit in the south. Is there a comeback to y'all like w'all or me'all.

and URINES.

BTW bigjohn. I tried one of those sleep comfort adjustable air beds and HATED it. I tried it for about a month and could never find a setting that worked for me. My brother had the same experience with his.

We have an air bed and like it pretty well. Ours came with a 20 year warranty which is better that almost anything else. One recomendation I can make is to get one that has the sleep number feature so you can gage what works and what doesn't. Its hard to gage otherwise and the firmness of the bed will change over time and with changes in temperature. NOt a big deal but its really helpful to have a numerical indicator of where the air pressure is.
Then next issue is what kind of topper is on the air bed. This can range from almost nothing to pretty fluffy pillow tops and different densities and thicknesses of memory foam.

Whatever happened to waterbeds anyway....they don't seem nearly as popular as they were years ago. Was it the leaking effect that got to people?

bray & md55- thanks for the honest comments on the air beds. we were looking at the one on tv, the select comfort, which does have the gauge to let you know what setting you are on. we gotta try something cause both of us are having chronic back pains, and they are at their worse when we get out of bed.. now, i am prepared to blame some of it on our older age, but i also think the bed is having a big part in it. i guess we will continue to look, and see what is out there.. although, i have been tempted to try the 30 day trial like you did bray.. are there and penalties with that?

zarak- i have one friend with a water bed. i had to help him drain and move it last spring when he bought his new house. he swears by it, and says he cant get a comfortable nights sleep on regular beds. my parents used to have a california king waterbed back in the 80's. i swear, it was almost like an ocean.. but after two leaks, dad decided it wasnt worth the liability.

i did go to funkytown with my girlfriend on it one time when my parents were out of town, but i didnt care for it. it was hard to get a good rhythm with the waves, and nearly impossible to get any traction for the short strokes. just my opinion!!

This is another thread that should probably be allowed to die a natural death, but the trick is to hook your toes under the edge of the bed frame. That solves both problems.
