Well...that's what I get for not watching the entire thing (Honey, can you do this...? )...
And trying to find the disk currently is like a version of "Button, Button, Who's got the Button?"
Maybe the boy knows were it is...
Thanks MiniRock...

It's a great little series WF. Hopefully, you get a chance to watch it.
Also, Volume II will be coming to DVD in December.
I wish it were coming out the same time as the EPIII DVD though.

Lucasfilm has released more details about the upcoming Episode III DVD release. Very cool that the Yoda on Dagobah scene will be included among the deleted scenes but still no Yoda talking to the spirit of Qui-Gonn scene mentioned. Still hoping for that one but it does appear to be a long shot at this point, if not the nail in the coffin.

I just got done watching Star Wars VI on my new DIY 2.35 aspect ratio screen which is 51" x 120". And don't worry everyone, no black bars for this guy. I'm using a Prismasonic 600M Anamorphic lens to fill the screen after my Sanyo Z2 did the required scaling.
Nothing like enjoying 2.35 movies as they were intended to be viewed

Doesn't the combination of scaling and anamorphic lens stretch out your pixels and make them rectangular? I'm sure it's not noticeable unless you get too close to the screen, but I'm just wondering.

If anything I'm noticing an improvment and less Screen Door Effect. Normally when you watch 2.35 material on an 16:9 projector, your not using all of the panels pixels, actually your missing out on 33% of the pixels which are taken up by the black bars. By vertically stretching the material to fill the height (which makes everything look skinny) your making use of these lost pixels. Keep in mind this is not Zooming the picture. The Anamorphic lens Horizontally stretches the picture back out to fill the 2.35 screen and make the image normal. Projectors vary on their lumen ratings, but on average you can expect an increase in brightness around 20% because your using the full panel display.
Over at AVS forum this 2.35 constant height idea has really picked up speed. There is actually a 2.35 forum for those that have taken the cinemascope step. Once you go there you wonder how you ever lived with Black Bars on wider AR movies.

Thanks for explaining. I can see how it would be preferable to use all your pixels.

Does that mean that you cut some of the picture off left to right? If so, isn't this like "Diet full screen"? I know a lot of purists want to see the whole image. Is this not a concern to 2.35:1 devotees?
I ask this not as an attack, please, merely to determine whether some cropping does exist, then to verify that you prefer a cropped widescreen image (16:9) over a skinnier, 2.35:1 image, and to question how much info you lose when doing this.
