for those of y'all in the Great White North.

PEARL JAM has scheduled an extensive tour schedule thru canada in the month of september. playing 15 dates in 22 days. you can check the schedule here

PJ is by far one of the better live bands i have ever seen. great show, and worth every penny!!

yup John speaks the truth, PJ is great live. I got that "golden email" from the fan club yesterday - a Canadian tour. Because of their big battle with Ticketmaster, it's something i didn't expect to see in my lifetime. However to my surprise, they are not only touring Canada, they are hitting some of the smaller cities. Saskatoon is on the list so I am quite excited.

I saw them on the Riot Act tour in Fargo, ND and they were fantastic. I also love the idea of being able to buy a cd copy of the concert afterwards (even if they are grossly overpriced).

That brings me to another question I was already planning on posting on a separate thread, but this seems as good a place as any. My membership ran out when I moved while some things got crossed in the mail. I only renewed it about a month ago, so I have little seniority in the fanclub. I already ordered a pair of tickets but I would love to try and get a pair that would be a little closer to the stage. Are there any board members on here that have been PJ fanclub members for a couple of years or longer? If there is and they would consider ordering a pair of tickets for me before May 9, I'd be one happy/appreciative camper. Anyone?

Yup, September 9th here... we started running ads for it on Tues or Weds. Not really my bag, but the other guys seemed pretty stoked.

and correct me if I'm wrong Adam, but you also get to watch the best junior team in the country @ the JL Center. Hosting the Mem Cup this year too, that Rimouski-London showdown is going to be great. I hope my Wheaties make the dance.

And you'd just HAPPENED to have picture of a family in their PJ's. Hmmm....how long have you been waiting to drop *that* punch line?

all i can think is that that family must be huge grunge fans. I mean flannel was big, but this is just getting carried away.

Gotta chime in.

My favorite band. . .seen many times. . .thinking of going to Canada just to see, but want to wait and see if they are going to announce US tour next.

My best bud that I grew up with has just moved to my state, California. Oh and by the way has been a member of ten club forever. Can you say front row perhaps. . . I have never had descent seats at any show never mind my favorite band. I am sooooooo looking forward to getting great seats to a few of the shows.

By the way, I don't think you can get the tix through another ten club member unless they go to the show to pic up the tix with you.

Ahhh, you are exactly right Sssutherland. Oh well, i'll have to roll the dice with my 3 week old membership. I think we'll be lucky here, probably not many people travelling from the US or from other parts of Canada who are trying to get tickets. Looks like there is one benefit to being isolated up here in the Great White North. Should be a great show!
