Have a Denon 3802 driving front M80's with a EP350 sub. Any suggestions on wether I should set the fronts as small or large? The system also has a VP150 center and QS8 surrounds.

I would try both settings to see what works best in your room. Technically speaking the large setting is the correct one for your system as the front channels are capable of reproducing all the front channel information with ease.
