I am considering connecting outdoor speakers (inside a covered screenhouse) to my indoor system. Is there any way to control volume outdoors other than having an integrated amp outdoors near the speakers? The signal will be coming from my indoor Rotel RC1070 and I will need to control indoor and outdoor volume separately.

Well, there's this one at partsexpress. Not cheap. Does your Rotel offer "Speaker B" switching? You might not even really need another amp.

Tom, how does that outdoor volume control connect into the system? Does it just get spliced into the speaker cables?
