You're dead to me.

Don't hate me because I'm different.

Maybe it would have helped to clarify a little... "too good for the beer selection available."

There, I fixed it!

And for the evening, a Beringer Knights Valley cab 2004 alongside a Chook Shed (Australian Barossa Valley) shiraz 2009.
Both lovely with burger dinner (bacon and brie cheese toppings).
Started with various prosciutto appetizers though (with bruscetta, Borsin cheese and basil wrapped shrimp).

Almost forget about the McGuigan semillion blanc.
An aging semillion which we tried tonight to cut the fat of the prosciutto apps and will age for 8 years and compare notes again.
Ah the patient wait in the world of wine.

Also need to add the latest, cheapest alternative (and similar) to Yellow Tail chardonnay.
Presenting, another Aussie, Fisheye!

After the Happy Harry's penny sale, these were $3 a bottle.
Just insane.
It's no raising hell wine, but there isn't anything so horrible about the wine to avoid it and as such, you really can't beat the price for the quality.

I had a really good Niagra Viognier the other day. Don't have the bottle in front of me so I can't tell you the winery. Lightly oak aged with a hint of fruit and a hint of, well, not sure what, but it was really good.

It was also my last bottle. Time for another road trip.

Yeah, like we're buying THAT as the reason. Whaddayathink, we're stupid?

Is that what you meant, Fred? Boy, you sure get sloppy.
