I tried ebay - they have them occasionally. Audiogon has none now. Anywhere else? Anyone on these boards have some they want to sell (beech preferred)?

Small room with not much space for the speakers. Will go with M22s and M2 center (and velodyne sub)

I'm not sure that the QS2s were still around when the new finishes were brought about. I could be wrong, but even if i were, i'm hazarding a guess that not a ton of them were sold prior to the models being discontinued.
You might have some trouble finding QS2s let alone some in Mansfield Beech.
Just my two cents.

I suggest you try the QS4s instead. You might have more luck in the search.

Funny you should mention this. I was browsing ebay 4 or 5 hours ago and sure enough a pair of qs2's in mansfield beech up for auction. Too bad you didn't post earlier. I could have helped you out.

If all else fails you could pick up some qs4's in the Axiom outlet store. Good luck.

I bid on some cherry QS2s last night - but the guy who own came in at the last minute and made a big bid. I bid again with 4 seconds left but it was not enough.

I am not sure I wanted cherry color if it was going to be $200. My m22s are beech.

right now I am using old cheapo KLH speakers that Best Buy has often sold for $10 a pair as surrounds. How much do you think they degrade the sound compared to QS2 or QS4s?

You're kidding, right? The QS2s were never manufactured in Beech. We did have Black, Cherry and High-Gloss Black though. They were so cute, weren't they?

Oops my bad Amie. Yes I was only kidding.They certainly weren't black or high gloss black. I need to get my eyes checked. lol.
