No kidding! If this guy keeps improving like he has, he could very well be the best ever. He moves like a ghost on the court. One of the most amazing things about his sucess is that he has no coach, agent, etc. I love his cool, calm demeanor on the court and his personality off court.

Hewitt played true to form and Federer still gave him a sound thrashing. It was a pleasure to watch.

Federer is perhaps the most entertaining player to watch in the past decade, if not more.

I can't find a flaw in his game. He's better than someone can imagine until they see him play.

The thing about tennis is that no matter how good you get, you'll never be able to beat a wall. Those things are relentless!

Federer could probably figure out a way to beat that wall.

Truly already a great player. I can't recall seeing anybody move as well as he does on the court.

Does he really have no coach? If so, his accomplishments are truly astonishing. For his game development and mentality to be where they are now without a coach...WOW.

He dumped his coach Peter Lungren just before winning Wimbledon the first time. He's been on a tear ever since. I feel bad for Peter. He must feel like pretty awkward. On one hand he got Federer to that point...but then as soon as he was let go, Federer turned into a God.

Yeah, Federer is just amazing. I was watching the Eagles game Sunday and flipped to tennis at the commercial and saw he had already won the first set 6-0 and was working on the second one against a guy who hadn't previously lost a set in the whole tournament.

I think we have our next grand slam winner. Just needs to pull it off on the clay.

With the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and US Open, all being fast courts, if Federer can win on the clay, that will prove some extreme versatility in his game.

Going into the French Open this year, Federer won the clay court championships in Hamburg over Coria (arguably the worlds best clay courter right now) 4-6, 6-4, 6-2, 6-3. That win, was his second consecutive Hamburg title. He beat Marat Safin in the final in 2003.

Clay isn't a problem for him.
