New poster here. I am looking into going with some Axioms. I live in the Cincinnati area and am looking to hear some. Preferably I'd like to find someone using M22's for their mains. I am leaning on going with those for my fronts BUT want to make sure before I do that. I have an SVS 20-39PCi sub and was told at another site that with that sub, I'd get enough bass to blend smoothly with the AWESOME hi's / mids the M22's offer.

Thanks
Chris

Well I'm not in Cincinnati by a longshot. But I think everyone here will agree with you that you will get very good sound with that combination. I'm planning to get that sub myself down the road to go with my axiom m60's.

I was hesitant on that combo after reading NUMEROUS posts here telling people to go with the M60's rather than the M22's. BUT, I will be using these mainly for DVD movie/concert viewing so I was leaning toward the M22's. My currnet fronts, Bose 701's, will be moved to my rec room for music listening.

Chris, have you looked here for audition opportunities? I'd check Kentucky too. Also, don't hesitate to drop Amie an email to see if she can help.

As I said, I've got the m60s and love them. My reasoning was partly a simple avoidance of "whatifitis" and partly a strong desire for floorstanding speakers. I'm sure I would be very happy with the sound of the m22s, but I plan on having these speakers for many years to come and want to avoid upgrading in a few years. Since this is my system for music and home theater, I figured it was better to go the m60 route for me. I don't know how those Bose sound, but the m60s are radically better than anything I had previously owned, they've honestly changed my music listening habits permanently.

Hi Chris,

I live in Cincinnati. I don't have M22s, but you're more than welcome to come sample the M60s. You could even bring your SVS if you're interested in hearing them together. I know I wouldn't mind hearing what all the SVS fuss is about! Send me a private message if you're interested.
