It bypasses the analog gear in your PC to keep it digital right to your gear. You can let it convert to analog or use coax for a digital feed. A range of 40m line of sight should still give reasonable distance through a wall if need be. Not available yet so no quality reviews out there that I've found yet. NAD wireless USB DAC With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.
