Getting ready to set up speakers and wanted some thoughts about using the vp100 as rear center speaker? ceiling mounted? 6.1 mains are m3 surrounds qs4 sub older 175 center vp 100 center vp 150 Yamaha HTR5660 6.1 85wpc

I'm sure it would work fine, or you could run dual front centers.

I actually tried my VP100 and VP150 as dual centers and it worked really well.
I seem to remember someone here trying the VP series as a rear center and didn't like it very much.

I tried it when I was trying all sorts of things (QS8/M3 combos and stuff). I thought it would be a good idea, but it did not sound right; it was too "present". In the sense that I could hear the speaker instead of the "backstage". But, that being said, feel free to try! Maybe just don't mount it right away!
