Just thought I would post about my upgrade. I just placed my order today for two new M60s (v3) and a VP160 center. I've had my existing M60s and a VP150 center for close to seven years now, I think. However, recently I've been noticing some vibrations in the M60s at certain freqs and thought the issue was coming from drivers that had loosened up. I tried everything to get rid of the vibrations, tightening the drivers, using thin foam between them and the cabinet, but nothing worked. So, since I loved the Axioms for all these years, I decided to stick with them and hopefully the new setup with last 10 years this time.
I'm really excited about the new VP160 center. We do occasionally have problems with hearing dialog in movies and TV shows. Most times I attribute it to pour mixing and production quality in the source, but I'm hoping this new center will help clean that up some.
