Hi,
I am new to Axiom, just saw some good reviews around and thought I will get some input from the owners. I just bought Image 6Ts and they have not been delivered by the dealer for past 1 month. I am kinda starting to have second thought about it after I saw the specs for M80ti's. They seem to be better, atleast on paper, so just want to get someones input if they have auditioned Image 6Ts. Axioms seem better value for the money but cant say how good they sound till I hear them personally. So I would really appreciate if anyone could push me towards either of those speakers. I am acutally planning in Epic 80 Home theater system if I finally decide on M80's agains Image 6Ts.

Welcome to the forums sandeep. Where are you located? There's a small chance there's an Axiom owner in your area willing to let you listen. Have you checked this thread?

In any case, I do believe most Axiom speakers are better than comparable speakers in PSB's Image series. It has been widely stated that Axiom speakers are comparable to Paradigm's reference line of speakers. Similarly, I think Axioms are close in sound to PSB's Platinum line.

Notice a trend? Axiom makes high-quality and high-value speakers. Don't let the cost throw you off. You absolutely CANNOT find a better deal. Believe me, we've all been trying.

I would be rather concerned about having ordered speakers and not yet received them after a month though.
Please tell me you didn't put down money on that.

Well, i havent heard the 6T but before i bought my M80's i had my heart set on the 6T.. well needless to say i discovered the M80's and here i am. have had them for a year and 2 weeks and still love em as much as i did when i got em. i firmly believe the M80's are a step or two above the 6T.

Sandeep, not getting your PSB speakers a month after ordering doesn't sound good. Have you contacted the company, or had the shipper track them?

I've ordered several different Axiom speakers, and generally get them within *two days*. Also Axiom has superb customer support.

I have M60tis and they have nice detailed sound. I've heard many things on my old CDs I didn't even know were there -- it's like having a totally new collection.

If you don't like the M80tis you can return them within 30 days and get a refund. As responsive as Axiom is, you could have already ordered the M80tis, evaluated them, returned them if you didn't like them and gotten your refund in the 30 days you've been waiting on PSB!
