Hi,
I got a set of the M22's and the metal brackets for them.
The problem is that there is no stud where I need to mount them, anyone have any luck mounting these with some heavy drywall anchors?

That's a tough one. The m22's are HEAVY. I wouldn't mount it w/o a stud. Your other option, though it may not be entirely aesthetic, would be to find studs on either side. Mount a horizontal 2x4 or similar sized piece of wood to those studs. Mount the bracket onto the wood. You can paint/decorate the wood to "hide" it.
