I'm not "comfortable" with Stevie's hats. Perhaps I'm chapeauphobic.

My wife is pretty fastidious about sun protection. We have more pictures of Stevie in hats than I care to admit.

Our kids are toe heads also(blonde), they take after their mother, so we have been known to put a little sun lotion on their heads before.

We live in Florida. Our Grandkids have very little tans compared to the tourists.

It's hot out there. They tend to stay inside in the air conditioning.

Thankfully, it appears as though your wife's gene pool had the biggest affect on them.
