I don't watch a great amount of primetime TV, so perhaps this commercial has been around for awhile, but I was certainly taken back while watching a commercial break in primetime tonight, there was a recruitment spot for people wanting a career in clandestine intelligence work with the CIA.
I had to tivo back, and watch it twice to realize it was a serious commercial and not some spot for Saturday Night Live. Perhaps I'm getting to the age where I'm falling behind the times, but somehow this feels really odd to me.
