They did this a month ago and several of us picked up a Toshiba A2 HD-DVD player for $98.

This time, amoung the specials, is an Toshiba A3 for $298 with 12 (yes 12) free movies. Like normal, you get 2 in the box and 5 via rebate, but you also get 5 at the time of purchase as well. No details as to selection though, but it says any 5 that are under $30. So that is like buying the movies and getting the player for free.... sort of.... as long as you like the free movies, I guess.

To bad they don't show the details/specs of each special. Sine I have the Z2 the HD player is a no go. The PS3 might not be bad, however, that is the regular price for the 40gb unit. Unless there are throwing in some extras, I may pass.

The add for the PS3 says that it sells with a $50 gift card, I guess that's the "extra". I mean you could always get another wireless controller with that $50 card (unless you're not planning on using it for gaming at all).

Most PS3 pics only show 1 remote, this pic shows 2. Maybe they are throwing in an extra remote? I suppose you still get the free 5 movie offer, and hopefully they throw in a few others as well.

You;re right, it shows 2 controllers, but it's weird they wouldn't even mention it. Since it says "40GB PS3 with FREE $50 gift card" I would tend to believe that they're selling the regular PS3 that comes with one controller... Maybe there's some info somewhere about what this offer includes, or you can always go and check it out yourself tomorrow...
