He will soon enough understand the concept of remote control! \:\)

He already grabs for that, but it's usually out of his reach. Pretty soon after this picture was taken, he did manage to convince me to fix the little piece of wood holding in the left side of the other window, though...

Brought back memmories of my oldest doing the same thing. You are in trouble very soon. Have you had eyes installed into the back of your head yet?

Not yet, but I'm going to need to get them soon.

Great pic, Ken! I think it shows the modern evolutionary step for males--we're instinctively drawn to anything electronic (unless it is something that plugs in to a kitchen outlet).

Ken, he's not admiring the HK receiver...just warming his fingers from the excessive heat that it gives off.

No kidding, H/Ks work great as space heaters, too!

This is true... I was shocked at how hot the thing was when I first got it. It now has about 6 inches of clearance above it and extra large venting in the back of the cabinet. It's still really, really hot.

Just wait until he starts using his toys to "drum" on the glass. It's tempered glass, right?
Posted By: Ken.C Re: My son, the audiophile - 12/19/07 06:00 PM
It's plexiglas. I think it might survive.

Good foresight. \:\)

My buddy in Wichita is on his third door glass in his ec. He always gets the "wasn't me!" when it happens. He told me the next one WILL be plexi.

If the first phrase he utters is "it's as if a veil has been lifted" you have him seek counseling immediately. ;\)

Or, if he says "better than speakers that cost 3 times as much."
