I know, I know, another thing from audiojunkies.com. It's a bit of a tweaky site, but they have interesting stuff sometimes, and I thought this anechoic chamber thing was cool. I'm tempted to visit it at some point and try to last the 45 minutes, even though I don't like beer.

What does Axiom's anechoic chamber measure at?

And now it's too early for me to be up. This message board is evil.

Nice link. My strategy to win the case of beer (does it have to be locally produced??) would be to hold hands out as far away from me as possible and sing loudly. The sound would reflect off my hands back to my ears and drown out the sound of my beating heart. \:\)

If that's against the rules, nobody would be the wiser since they couldn't hear me anyway. \:\)

That's also what they tell you to do if you're lost... not scream for help, you'll lose your voice and raise your anxiety level... they suggest you sing so people can find you.

I just bring gin and vermouth with me when I go hiking... if I get lost, I start mixing them and invariably someone will tap me on the shoulder and say "that's not how you make a martini"
