It's almost Winter.

Why isn't Rick(F) inviting us all to his place?

Almost?? The snow has been here for almost 3 weeks now.

Open your windows. The snow will dampen the sound of your concrete walls.

Funny. I was musing on that very quality of snow as I walked my son home yesterday.

If you're gonna come this far in the summer, you might as well keep going for 3 more hours. Nice fishing, great sound...

It's just a matter of time

When I read Richards evil post the EXACT word popped into my mind.

I’ve enjoyed about 20” of snow within the last 24 hours or so…….

The joys of living near the top of the world, think of it this way, at least the mosquitos and black flies are gone.

I know the feeling....

Three weeks ago I was sitting on the beach in Destin, Florida with my feet in the Gulf, worrying if I'd put on enough sunscreen, and generally enjoying an 80 degree day. Today I'm in the north woods of Wisconsin, looking at the weather forcast for our drive home tomorrow calling for 2-4 inches of snow.

Yay!

We had a great day, 80 degrees but the seas were a little rough so the wife and I stayed inshore and called some friends who brought their boat and met us at one of our local on-the-water cafes for lunch and a drink.

Mark, you should know that you and anybody else here is always most welcome!
