An interesting vehicle being developed out in BC, the eVaro supposedly gets 275 mpg in the city(imperial/US?) and 5 sec 0-60!

I can't see the peddles but I'm sure they are there.

Pretty cool looking, though the improctical nose would get knocked around pretty quickly!

I can't imagine going 135 mph with only one rear tire. A rear tire blow-out and your donkey is on the ground.

Now thats a lot more interesting than the two wheel jobie GM is backing.

why do these "cars of the future" always have to be so ridiculous looking? There's a reason they never catch on people...

You say "electric car" to someone and this is the crap they imagine. It's almost like they don't want to succeed.

I think its pretty cool looking. Its also pretty cool to get both high milage and performance out of the same package.

MPGe - Miles Per Gallon Equivalent....

Hmmm....

So are they saying 275 MPGe (city or 165 MPGe highway) for the cost of about a gallon of gas?

It always seems like these numbers are overinflated from the start, but that isn't bad. Of course, with a family of 4, I couldn't fit everyone in, so I'd need two, effectively cutting MY MPGe in half to 137.5 MPGe city and 82.5 MPGe highway...

And I agree, it is silly looking...

I will take any combination of two numbers from 275 for my Z71 Silverado

Maybe the car takes advantage of human emissions, much like this guy: Chair Tweets when Farted on
