I came across this on Logitech's forum today. A great alternative to the sticky IR 'emitters' used with the RF receiver.
Cool stuff!
Logitech also released a Harmony branded IR to BlueTooth transceiver for use with the PS3. It too has an electrical IR input. Because it talks to the PS3 over BT, it can turn the system on, which the USB IR dongles cannot.
I use an IR Blaster with my URC 300. It comes with a bunch of the wired, sticky IR receivers but the blaster seems strong enough that reflections off the walls and whatnot hit everything in the different levels of the entertainment shelving. I keep them around if I ever get something hiding behind glass but I think the days of glassed in TV stands and such are starting to decline.
