Happy birthday, Mark! Have a great day!
Who?
Cheers, my friend.
Aaah, it's Mark's birthday! <runs away screaming>
Happy birthday, dude!
Happy b'day Mark. So whacha getting for your birthday? A wall maybe, to un-square your HT room?
Happy Birthday Mark! How come your B-Day isn't on the calendar?
Happy Birthday Mark, :: Mark runs away crying::
Happy mysterious ghost calendar birthday!
I'm inviting myself up for sure this year. Or next. You have been warned.
It's totally NOT COOL to ignore a birthday wish thread on your birthday.
Mark, you're not supposed to get a life on the one day when we all like you.
Happy Birthday, anyway.
Seriously. We're all here typing in his honor and he completely ignores us. Harumph.
And it's really quite an effort for us to do this. I think I need to lie down.
It's a surprise birthday thread.
Now shhh... and stay hidden, he could be here any moment.
Then it's Surprise!!!
Happy Birthday Mark, have a _______ on us.
"This square room is so small...move over Terry, stop stepping on my foot Fred, Shhhhhh!!....I think I hear him"
"SURPRISE!!!.....GADZOOKS!!....HE's NAKED!!"
Hey Mark,
I regret that I don't have the time to hang out here as much as I would like. I still think of so many here as good friends, you included. I still have the plaque you made hanging on my wall near my front door. I don't pass it without thinking of both my Mom and you. Have a wonderful day and..
Thanks everyone! Your well-wishes were a true highlight! Seriously, I think you guys made my day.
I don't mean to "bring things down", but to be honest, it was a pretty crappy day. Past a bunch of technical issues that plagued and frustrated me all day, I'm particularly introspective because my best friend from childhood died the other day, and I'm trying to wrap up a bunch of things here so I can go to his memorial in NJ in a couple of days.
Point is, sappy as it might sound, I really DO treasure you guys and feel very much as though you are friends and family... even though I haven't met 99% of you.
Birthdays don't ordinarily mean much to me, but on this one, I'm now thinking about the friends I have instead of the one I lost. Thank you.
JP, I never listed my birthday here, but I think Cam saw it on FaceBook....
Sorry to hear about your childhood friend, Mark.
BTW, the feelings of family and friends here is mutual.

Yeah, except you consider me one of those few nuts!
Happy Birthday, Mark!!
I am sorry to hear about your childhood friend.
Yes, this forum is full of people, I, too, consider friends and family! Your humor has always provided a smile and bright spot for me on countless occasions.
Mark - Sorry about your friend. I won't wish you a happy birthday, but will wish your bride buys you a Sawstop.
Hell, I like people on this forum better than some of my own family members!
My sympathies Mark. Birthdays are already kinda semi dark and melancholy anyway, in that they remind you of your own mortality and the passing of time.
And as you get older, if you live long enough, you can expect more loss.
Mark's situation should remind us all to let the people we care about know how we feel about them while we can, cause you just never know, you know?
Oh oh. I feel a group hug coming on.
::backs away slowly::
If we're going to have a group hug, Mark better get some clothes on.

LMAO!
Yeah.
Happy Birthday, Mark. Sorry I'm late, and sorry your day wasn't the best. It's great having you around. You've been responsible for some of the most classic posts.
Happy belated birthday Mark!
Happy belated birthday Mark, what Audiosavant said is so true, you never know what the future will bring. Enjoy everyday to the fullest.
Sorry to hear about your friend Mark. Belated Happy Birthday wishes.
Hi Mark,
I'm late for your birthday but I hope your days get better and better. With the last name of Murphy, I've been to a couple of real Irish style wakes and you know, they have the right idea. Nobody pretends that losing a friend isn't difficult but also they celebrate the joy that their life brought to everyone. So, when you are ready, raise a piece of that birthday cake and salute your friend and all that you hold dear of him.
Mark - have a great B-Day my friend!
Your gift is in the mail. I got you the same thing as last year, but this year I wrapped it.
Happy Belated Birthday Mark!
I didn't get you a gift like Ray did, but I did send a check and like Ray ... it's in the mail.
And I sent you a 12 pack of what Ray got you, well....because you're worth it.
