Last month, residents of a toney burb, about 7 miles from the center of downtown Boston, woke up to find a horribly mutilated body lying in the middle of their private way. This neighborhood is only 3 miles away from some of Boston's worst gang activity.
They were able to ID him. His name was Dalante West.
He was a 16 year old from North Carolina who had been reported missing only 12 hours earlier. He was last seen in NC the previous morning.
The cops are still working on a theory; a bizarre and specific theory.
If you know, don't tell. Let's go, Sherlock(s)!
I don't know if it's fair because I do so many of these things. I've never heard this specific one, but it has elements I've seen/heard before. I think the key is something I saw on Burn Notice.
Maybe I'll just put out some initial guesses.
Was he reported missing because he ran away from home?
Is the mutilation in a fashion that would occur after a fall from a great height?
Was there a trail of clothing between NC & Boston?
I know the answer already so I can respond to your questions.
Was he reported missing because he ran away from home?
No.
Is the mutilation in a fashion that would occur after a fall from a great height?
Yes.
Mrs. White did it in the Kitchen with the lead pipe.
Were the wounds consistent with that of a Stihl hedge trimmer?
Sounds like one of those stories about hiding in a planes landing gear hold and then falling out once the doors opened.
That's what I was thinking. Next, I was going to ask if the site where he was found was on the approach to the airport.
If he didn't run away, I don't know what the story is for him climbing into the landing gear, then. Unless he worked at the airport as a mechanic.
I don't know what a toney burb is.
Isn't Delonte West one of the Boston Celtics?
Isn't Delonte West one of the Boston Celtics?
I don't know, but I bet CV. . . .oh wait, it's not one of
those jokes. . . .
*sigh*
Isn't Delonte West one of the Boston Celtics?
Yeppers.
Can someone PM me and give me a website or two that explains how to solve these things. I enjoy puzzles and questions requiring logic, and do sudoku's almost daily. This has piqued my interest.
Thanks
Yes, he fell out of a a commercial liner's landing gear a month ago. They just found, umm, the missing stuff in a 1000' radius jus this week.
I know, a little late. You can tell "he" must have work these weeks.
