Axiom Home Page

It happens sometimes that when i go on an Internet site, all i see is a white page and all the contents of that page is compressed to the center of that page, about half an inch wide. It is compressed horizontally.

It is happening to me right now on this site: http://www.aixrecords.com/

I have looked in the Opera config and tried a few things, but can't find the solution. It does work ok if i use Internet Explorer.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Not an Opera user but can confirm the web page is working fine in the latest Chrome and Firefox. I even tried it on our Ancient corporate version of Explorer 6.

PS, I ordered the recommended AIX sampler a while ago as well. It truly is a fun experience, surround sound wise. Definitely, the best go-to source in my pile if you need to explain the concept of soundstage to someone. Also, the artists AIX uses in a lot of their recordings are truly top notch.

I'm not an Opera user either, but there may be an add-on for it that emulates Internet Explorer. I use one with Firefox for those few remaining pages that only work with IE.

I use Opera almost exclusively. Version 11.6 has no problems with the AIX site.

Do you visit the site often? Perhaps a corrupt cookie? Google switches the default language to French in almost every browser. I have to delete all the cookies Google sets in order to revert to English.

i checked all you wrote above, TitaniumMan; the problem is not there.

i got the solution on the Opera forums:

"Turn off Fit to width.
CTRL+F12 for preferences > Web Pages > Deselect > Fit to width"

I'm glad you found the answer. That "fit to width" option sure can mess up some web pages.
