Splat is right. From Wikipedia (WiSBASE - Wing Suit Base Jumping):
'One technique is proximity flying, which is flying close to the faces and ridges of mountains. Ten people died WiSBASE jumping in 2011.'
These things glide like a Simonized Crowbar. Then they expect emergency personnel (like me in my previous life) to put our butts on the line to retrieve what's left of their sorry, broken or dead a$$es...
