The real cause (if there is any we will ever really know) of the bizarre weather of late doesn't really matter, does it?

In the past 8 weeks I have felt like Sibyl. I have been in Boston for a few days and almost a week here and there in Raleigh. Just as I got back here, I'd be back in Raleigh for a day or three, and even a daytrip to Savannah! This is wreaking havoc with my Seasonal Affect Disorder. I'm no longer sure about just when I should be depressed anymore.

Today I am in Moosonee. The ambient temperature is -6F and the wind child is -23F. Mr. Watson, who just turned 16, is not going to be happy, but he ain't goin' nowhere today but his yard.

Richard (Socketman) will laugh at me for being a woos, but, really? People live like this for months at a time? At a certain temperature, he probably stays home, because it's too cold for electricity to function.

Edit: No, I really mean it. I had to wait for the sun to be up for 3 hours this morning before the cones in my M100's would move. Three-season porch, my ass. They never DID tell which 3 seasons. It's cowald!

Too funny Bob, this is the mildest winter we have had in the 20 yrs I have been here. We have not had anything lower than -20 back in December for a few days but mostly -5 its been really weird. Crank the heat up and make a hot toddy , this weather isn't for the weak smile

Santa Anas were blowing down here. 80 , bright sun, intense blue skies. Took out the S2000, changed diff fluid, MT fluid brake fluid and oil. Put in oversized throttle body and K&N filter. Cruised the ca yon, hit 9,000 rpm a few times. Couldn't hear the stereo. Bummer.

I know. Global cooling. No, wait, global warming. No wait, Climate change. It gets warmer, then colder ... the sky is falling. Oh noes.

I miss reasonable statements.

...

Oh, we know the real cause Bob. You've used his name in vain once too often. Its locusts tomorrow.

Lysenko. Settled science.
I think you meant His name rather than his name.

I've only had to wear winter boots a few times this winter.

I'm sure the worst is yet to come.

No snow, above zero all week. Crazy.

We were -10 F Saturday Night and we were 50 F on Monday. Good old New England.

Dear Canada,
thank you for letting us borrow the very cold air but we are finished with it, can you take it back please?

Dear Merica,
We were only trying to cool off The Donald. Apparently he has more hot air than we anticipated.

Sicnerely,
Canada

You guys just installed a cover model from Abercrombie & Filth! What's next, porn stars? Oh, yeah, Italy did that, like 20 years ago.
